Pan-Fried Chicken

Ingredients

 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
 salt
 pepper
 3 tbsp flour
 ¾ cup panko bread crumbs
 1 egg
 1 tbsp water
 olive oil

 

Steps

Pat chicken dry with paper towel

Sprinkle salt on chicken

Sprinkle pepper on chicken

Wash hands

Put 3 tablespoons flour on plate

Put 3/4 cup bread crumbs on a second plate

Crack egg into bowl

Put 1 tablespoon water in bowl

Whisk egg and water

Cover chicken in flour

Dip chicken in egg

Cover chicken in bread crumbs

Put chicken on plate

Wash hands

Put pan on stove

Put olive oil in pan

Turn heat to medium

Wait for oil to heat up

Put paper towel on plate

Put chicken in pan

Wash hands

Cook for 5 minutes (5:00)

Flip with spatula

Cook for 5 minutes (5:00)

Chicken is 150 degrees

Put chicken on plate

Sprinkle salt on chicken
