Hi! My name is Anna Moyer, and I'm the creator of Accessible Chef. I started this project over ten years ago as a way to teach cooking skills to people with intellectual disabilities, and I'm thrilled that life skills teachers, therapists, and other disability advocates and self-advocates are still using the resources today. Although I started the project while I was in high school, inspired by my brother Sam, I'm now a PhD candidate in human genetics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where I'm researching Down syndrome. Improving Accessible Chef is a side-project for me, but feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions, comments, or requests.
In my free time, I enjoy science communication and writing about disability. Check out my writing portfolio below!
