Haroset

Ingredients

 2 large apples
 ½ lemon
 1 inch fresh ginger
  cup chopped walnuts
  cup chopped almonds
  cup chopped pecans
  cup golden raisins
 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 ¼ tsp ground cardamom

 

Steps

Wash apples

Wash lemon

Peel apples

Cut out apple cores

Slice horizontally

Cut into thin strips

Turn and cut into cubes

Put apple cubes in bowl

Peel ginger using spoon

Grate ginger

Measure 1 tsp ginger

Put ginger in bowl

Cut lemon in half

Squeeze lemon juice into bowl

Stir to coat apples

Add 1/3 cup walnuts

Add 1/3 cup almonds

Add 1/3 cup pecans

Add 1/3 cup raisins

Add 1 tsp cinnamon

Add 1/4 tsp cardamom

Add 3 tbsp honey

Stir

Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup wine

Stir
