Horchata
Ingredients
½ cup water ¼ cup white sugar ¼ tsp cinnamon 1 qt rice milk
Steps
1Place saucepan on counter
Measure 1/2 cup water
Pour water into the pan
2Measure 1/4 cup sugar
Add sugar to the pan
3Measure 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Add cinnamon to the pan
4Place saucepan on stove
Turn burner to medium heat
Hold handle with oven mitt
Whisk mixture for 5 minutes
5Turn off the heat
Let mixture cool for 10 minutes
6Pour rice milk into the pitcher
Pour sugar water into pitcher
Stir together
7Add ice to glass (optional)
Pour horchata in glass or mug
Enjoy!
