Soft Pretzels

Ingredients

 1 ½ cups warm water
 1 packet dry yeast
 1 tsp salt
 1 tbsp sugar
 3 ¾ cups flour
 1 beaten egg
 sea salt to sprinkle

 

Steps

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Put parchment on baking sheet

Dissolve yeast in water

Add salt and sugar

Stir

Add flour slowly

Mix until not sticky

Turn dough out onto surface

Knead for 3 minutes

Shape into ball

Cut ball into equal pieces

Roll piece into a long rope

Shape into pretzel

Put pretzels on baking sheet

Brush with beaten egg

Sprinkle with salt

Bake for 10 minutes

Cool and enjoy
