
“No Chill” Cutout Sugar Cookies
“No Chill” Cutout Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup softened butter 1 cup sugar 1 large egg 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 tsp baking powder 3 cups flour
Steps
1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2Mix butter and sugar.
Beat egg and vanilla into bowl.
3Add flour and baking powder 1 cup at a time.
Stir last cup in by hand.
4Do NOT chill dough.
Divide into 2 balls.
5Lightly flour surface.
Roll dough ball 1/8" thick.
6Dip cookie cutters in flour before using.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
7Add sprinkles or cinnamon sugar.
Put on cookie sheet.
Bake 6-7 minutes.
